If you mean sending e-mails to Tales of Medusa for them being overhyped, that would be pretty stupid considering they have nothing to do with it. The 'hype' comes from people who feel bad that they haven't heard the band. They aren't trying to be anything, whether it's obscure or cult or hyped or whatever. They just record music and don't feel comfortable accepting money for what they love to do. I don't have an answer to the question of why they don't just have a website with their music uploaded because I'm not the band. I guess they just don't want to have to maintain it. Hopefully they change their minds some day and allow one of the probably dozen or so labels to release their music in a larger quantity so people can stop hyping them up in their eagerness to hear the band and then complaining that they're overhyped.

Edit: there was a song uploaded by Stormspell Records from the new demo, I'll find it and post it. I haven't listened to it myself, I want to wait until I have the actual tape.

You know, for all I know they live in caves. I don't know if any of them even own a computer. They don't check their e-mail more than once every few months at best, they probably go to the library or something. I don't know.

And V5, my post was in response to everything said about the band here both in this thread and in the past and also to pre-empt everything to come. They've become a running joke (actually that's true for most boards on which they're talked about as well) and have received a lot of backlash, and since I brought them up here, I get to be tied to them constantly. If you'll notice, the thread title was a jab at me, so that's a bad start. But you have to remember that smiley faces are implied in all of my posts, I just don't care enough to put them in there.

The only reason that I talk about them is because they're now perpetually a running joke and are always tied to the fact that I talked about them before anybody uploaded their music, and I feel like I have to clarify things (every time they're brought up (look a smiley face)).
