NRL 2007

They did beat the Titans in the first week though.

Don't worry, they'll win the premiership. I'm still proud of being the only person in the world not to tip them for the grand final in 2005, so I think I know my stuff when it comes to tipping the Dragons. Well, except for the week-by-week tipping.

Nah, the media's just beating it up to sound more serious than it really is, I'm sure.

Quite certain this will be his last year though. It's not like he has much else to achieve in the game.

I was always getting the Friday night games wrong, so I decided to pick who I thought would lose, figuring they'd then win. They lost.

And then the Eels smashed the Raiders and Newcastle proved that they CAN lose without Johns.

Forgot my to put my tips in ... got the away sides, started well. Christ can the Tigers win a Game or lose by more than 3 points total in two weeks straight,,, great game.
Well a least West Ham beat Arsenal .... can they aviod the drop

Dragons will come around, but whether they're a serious force this year - I'm unsure.

The early question is where do you put Bowen in the Australian and QLD sides.......

Unfortunately, form has nothing to do with Australian selection, unless there are injuries. Hunt or Minichiello will be picked at fullback, but it should be Bowen. Queensland is another matter - you just have to look at the selections of Mogg, Lillyman and Hannay last year to see that Meninga & Co don't mind looking outside the square.

The Australia and Queensland fullback, if they were picked today, should obviously be Bowen. If they absolutely have to have Karmichael Hunt in there then he can play on the wing - he won a premiership there, after all. I personally don't think he should be picked at all, but maybe that's just me.

Yeah, selection on non-form is ridiculous. Though Hunt is playing pretty well too, and he had an outstanding season last year. Bowen is just playing a little better at the moment though. Bowen is more of a gamebreaker, but that's not as big an issue in the Australian team when you've got Inglis, Slater, and previously Gasnier. Bowen isn't needed as much in that sense.

I don't have a problem with Hunt being picked at fullback for either Australia or QLD, but there's no way Minichello should be picked for Aus. I think it'd be a disgrace to overlook the fullbacks in form at the moment for Minichello. Similarly, I don't think Buderus should be considered when Cameron Smith has been oustanding for the past year...

It was good to see the cowboys come back from behind on Saturday night. That hasn't really been their forte in the past.

So far I have 5/7 but that will probably 5/8 as the dragons are behind at the moment. Why the fuck did I back the dragons!?

2/8. Wah.
