I'm talking about peer-to-peer program 'SoulSeek', like 'eMule'...
There's no such room on it...
You are not searching hard enough, there is a "UM old school" room on Soulseek ... lots of the guys and galls hanging around here share stuff there!

I just barely downloaded SoulSeek this morning, so it's gonna take me awhile to figure out how to run the contraption. If I ever figure it out, I'll let you know!

I looked for a UM Old School room, but didn't find it. Why don't they list those things alphabetically? Jeez. Thankfully, the first letter function is enabled so I just typed a U looking for UM Old School. Only four U's on the room list, and that wasn't one of them.

Click on the word 'Rooms' above the list of rooms.

'UM Old School' - strange thing... There's no room on my 'Soulseek'...

Oh yeah! A subject I know something about!

Anyone remember a band called Witchcross? They never made it to cd, but you can still pick up the vinyl copy here and there. That singer from Wolf reminds me of Witchcross's singer, especially in the song Evil Star.

How about another band that never made it to cd; 3rd Stage Alert, produced by Yngwie Malmsteen. (Okay, this technically isn't NWOBHM, but same time period)

Other (somehwat) rare but valuable gems for me:

Demon - Unexpected Guest, Night of the Demon, The Plague
Picture - Diamond Dreamer, Eternal Dark
FIST - Thunder in Rock
Mama's Boys - Turn It Up
Quartz - Against All Odds
Raven - All For One
Tygers of Pan Tang - Spellbound
Witchfinder General - Friends of Hell
Rock Goddess - Hell Hath No Fury
Grim Reaper - See You in Hell
TNT - Knights of New Thunder

Witchcross!!! Light Of A Torch

I've brought that name up on this forum a few times in the past
I fargin love that band :worship:

Quartz
FIST - Thunder in Rock - Canada
Killer -both bands were hip

Another band I loved was Heavy Pettin -first album by the Scotish boys ruled

BTW I transfered the Witchcross album to digital if ya need it

YES YES! Light of a Torch! Face of a Clown! Night Flight to Tokyo! Rockin' The Night Away! Oh, man, I'd LOVE to get that on digital. I have the vinyl version in storage since I don't have a turntable. Still have a recording of it on cassette, but it's 20 years old and been played a hundred times. If we could arrange a transfer somehow, I'd be eternally grateful!
