Just got the new Cryptopsy CD "Once was not" yesterday. Holy crap! Anyone who likes technical death should definitely check this one out ASAP. Flo Mounier is really pushing the envelope regarding what's physically and mentally possible on drums. I don't know how he comprehends these patterns, let alone plays them. In time. At light speed. 10/10.

I heard the new album at a buddy's place and it kicked ass. I'm seeing 'em near the end of the month in Toronto! I can't wait! Between that and the Anthrax/Priest show I'm seeing Saturday, October's gonna be a great month of metal for me! 
insane cd probably one of theier best cds. i like it blends so many styles together and fuses together.
Lord worm vocals are a bit weak in that record, IMO. He's getting old, i suppose... other than that, an amazing return, i love the crazy song structures and the over-the-top tech musicianship. Oh, and Flo has never sound that better...powerful, deep, i love how his kit sounds...no fuckin' triggered snare or toms!! man, i HATE triggered toms, they sound so artificial!
