O/T New Megadeth

Gay video aside. The funny lyrics are part of Mustaine's new repertoire.
Still, since the beginning, Mustaine does inject a bit of tongue in cheek in his lyrics. Only lately, his lyrics were too direct & less 'poetical'.
The lyric for Turn Your Back sure remind me of John Deacon's work.

His singing also took a surprising turn. On Dance In The Rain & Cold Sweat its clear that he manage to find a 'new' way of squeezing his singing to make it 'listenable'.

As a whole, the album works fine. Each song flows nicely with each other..no reason to hate the album. A safe venture for Mustaine, he is just letting off steam. just like 13.

Just wait till the next album, he'll be shredding again.

On a better prospect, it is good that Mustaine is still writing & releasing actively these days.
