Alrighty, so I've stumbled across two very interesting mp3s. They are tagged as Edge of Sanity songs and sound like rough versions of Darkday and Lost. I read (via metal archives' EoS profile [links at the end]) that there are supposedly demos for these songs that were released as promos? Anyone know if these demos actually exist? Or are these some other bands playing some very stylized covers perhaps?

Maybe Dan can shed some light on this?

Here are the mp3s: http://www.sendspace.com/file/c55k63

MA's Page for the Darkday demo: http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=26709

The MA page for the Lost demo: http://www.metal-archives.com/release.php?id=26708 (oddly, shows that it was with Route Nine's Before I Close My Eyes Forever on the CD/Tape/Whatever)

I think the information on M-A is wrong, I don't think they ever released those songs as promo demos.
The songs however is very much valid. They were even available for download on swano.com.

I think both are very cool versions. I especially like that cool intro to Darkday!

Those are the pre-production versions for The Spectral Sorrows. They sound a lot better than the actual album did. Why should I change speakers all the time??? :(

Not much wrong with the overall sound there but I think I remember the snare being a fucken ass.
