Odyssey. New listerner. Help me

Hi i dont know much about Symphony X. But i hear there good. Do you guys recommend Odyssey for a first timer? Is it really an epic? Help me out

If you want really epic, symphonic, cenceptial stuff get "V". But if you want some heavier, riffier stuf get "The Odessey". Personally I like TO better. But those two albums are the best place to start. Also check out the website for more info.

my first by them was The Odyssey. Now I own V, so either are good choices. The Odyssey has some sick guitar tones, riffs, drums, really everything.

When I first started listening to Symphony X, I enjoyed V alot more than TO, but now TO has become my favorite.There is just so much going on in every song. It really blows you away when you listen to it with headphones.

"The Odyssey" is not a bad start. Songs like "Inferno" and "King of Terrors" draw you in the heart of Symphony X's music. The title track
stays on your system like a drug, rendering you hooked.

"V" was the album I started with. "The Odyssey" is my favorite. But all of their albums kick ass so I don't know what to recommend. Anything but the debut!

I would recommend 'V' as a first album...you here all the aspects of SX iin that one, while TO is a little rougehr .
