Off-putting album covers/band names

I've put off getting anything by Metal Church. The fucking lame name...

While I actually (For some reason) enjoyed listening to "Balls" it was sortof a putoff at first.

To be honest when I see band names like gory blister or edguy I don't even care to know. Gory Blister

..what's an edguy!

Other than that i'm not picky on band names,etc....

Greys, Gory Blister is fantastic technical death metal (not overproduced really) from Italy...they sound like a more melodic and fast-paced version of Death's mid-era prog death-y album.

Pretty much all of Immortal's album covers are off-putting, especially Battles in the North, although it is a great album. Satyricon's Dark Medieval Times looks like a doodle out of some kid's school notebook.

I agree with you besides At the Heart of Winter which is a great cover. The others are just goofy.
