Off to Machine Shop to Engineer the new Miss May I Album!

I've always considered Miss May I as a more traditional type metalcore rather than modern like asking alexandria etc.

Sick band nevertheless.

Yeah I feel like going to Joey for BOTH their first albums was a mistake. :/
Use him for your first cd to make you famous, then go somewhere else for the rest of your discography haha. They're not a "joey band" like people think they are.

They sound nothing like Integrity, Converge, Coalesce :p

They're like the last generations "Melodeath rip" 3rd wave metalcore, As I Lay Dying, Killswitch, All That Remains, etc.

I was actually referring to kse, as i lay dying and other bands in that genre.:D

I'm 21 so my "traditional" metalcore falls on the shoulders of those bands.

Nailed it. They're not going for a super metal sound, but they've got some thrash, they've got some ballad, they have a little of everything.

Lol I just turned 21, so NO EXCUSE :)

You win sir.

But the first time i heard the term "metalcore" it was about kse so i change my original excuse to that

Edit: and so that i won't go toi offtopic i have to say that sturgis gave so much to these guys and did a fantastic job. That being said i can also say that i feel like machine will do just as good job with a different approach.
