Off topic - IPOD question

Hello. I was hoping one of you experts would be able to help me out.

Short Story:
I have an Nano. I had my ipod songs which were 99% cds I uploaded + 2 download tracks if itunes. Computer crashed and I had to buy a new one. The songs are still on my ipod but obviously I have lost my playlist.

Question:
The next time I upload new songs to a new playlist and then synch it, will it overwrite the songs I've already got on the ipod?, or just add to em?

Hold down ctrl and shift. You won't lose your songs that way
