Off-topic- Today may be my daughter's birthday.

At about 12:00 AM Central time, I checked Harumi in to East Alabama Medical Center. Her contractions were coming about 4 to 5 minutes apart. They checked her cervix and she was dilated to 4 cm. Looks like she will have the baby sometime today.

Yumi Joleen Stokes was born at 1:31 AM 4/22/09. she weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz.

I took some pictures, but I am using the hospital wi-fi and I don't have a way to upload it. Both baby and Mom are both just fine. In fact, Harumi went from 5 cm dilated to birthing the baby in 25 minutes. They didn't even have time to give her an epidural or any pain med. It was a super fast delivery.

A friend of me also just had a son this week. I think it's a good thing to
have kids when you'r a bit "older"...Like with me, my kids have outgrow me now, back when they were little we just had too little time to enjoy their childhood... I think when you are at your age, you can concentrate and enjoy the childhood more...Mmmm; hope that makes any sence
Now, not that I would want a crying baby next to my bed again either , haha...
