To save space & cut down on the number of 'sticky' threads, I'm condensing all of the show date threads into one official tour thread..when/if new dates are announced, they'll be added to the top. Please don't post rumors here about shows you may hear about elsewhere..dates will not be posted here until confirmed by the band. :)

Since their main focus this year is on the new cd, there won't be any full fledged Euro tour in 2004.

Hmmm...what about "An Evening With Symphony X" tour throughout the U.S. in late summer where they are the only act and play for 3 hours?

Hi guys Im Oz one of the guitar players of Arkhe a Mexican Band in the vein of Cynic and that stuff we are proud to anounce that we are going to be the Opening Act in the Mexican Dates of Symphony X. I hope you visit our website www.arkheonline.com and wait our first album “Virtual Landscape” that was mixed and masterized at Morrisound recording by Jim Morris. See yaaa

Maybe guys tour in Europe 2005? That would be nice! But when X comes here then the party begins! Then I propably have a car...

OK, I'd like to just make a suggestion now for the next time they come to Detroit on a headlining tour.

Since they (and we the fans) were screwed over at the last few places they played (at Harpos and The Shelter) and had to cut their set lists in half, I would like to suggest The Hayloft Liquor Stand in Mt. Clemens, MI.

It's about the size of St. Andrews Hall (where they opened for Blind Guardian here), in a much nicer area, and I seriously doubt that they will cut them short.

I saw George Lynch there back in December and he didn't get off the stage until almost 2 AM, and then he met with fans and signed autographs INSIDE for another 45 minutes after that. I didn't leave there until about 2:40 AM. None of the staff was trying to push us out the door or anything.

If Symphony X were ever to do 'an evening with'-type show, how's this for a setlist?

Inferno (Unleash the Fire)
Wicked
Smoke and Mirrors
The Accolade & Accolade II
Evolution (The Grand Design)
Fallen & Transcendence
Communion and the Oracle
Church of the Machine
Dressed to Kill

[---Intermission---]

Sonata (tape)
In the Dragon's Den
The Damnation Game
Awakenings
King of Terrors
Out of the Ashes
Through the Looking Glass
Sea of Lies
The Edge of Forever
Of Sins and Shadows

[---Encore---]

The Divine Wings of Tragedy

[---2nd Encore---]

The Odyssey

C'mon...it's do-able.

"Hmm. I belive they have Spell check for that. Let me know, and tell me how it works out, alright?"

Practice what you preach..
