just got back from Batman Begins and im in awe. Its fucking awesome!!!
Bale was a complete badass. The story, the cast, all the "Bat stuff" was just amazing.

The original Batman is freakin' awesome. The one with The Penguin and hotass Catwoman was pretty good. The next two got too comic-booky for me, and not dark enough.

I want to see this new one, but I'll wait until it's on video.

And yeah, Bale's acting as American Psycho Patrick Bateman should have gotten an Oscar nod. Just spot on.

The reason I asked is because I saw in one of the previews it looked like he was avenging his parents murder, and like, that was already done in the Burton flick.

But honestly, this one actually looks good unlike the last several. I'm with J., I much prefer dark Batman than comic Batman, even if the original TV series is good stupid fun. Now the cartoon on Fox some years back HOLY SHIT FUCKING AWESOME. If they have that on DVD, I need to get them shitz.

Do any of you guys ever use Rotten Tomatoes? They collate a bunch of reviews of pretty much every movie ever to give them an overall rating, and so far Batman Begins has been pretty overwhelmingly positive.

Tim Burtons was not a masterpiece. and its no where near Batman Begins.

And yes, Batman begins is seperate from the others. Its the real Batman.

I'm a big fan of that site... gives a more evenhanded impression than reading any single review. They come from a pretty wide variety of sources. However, I find it weird that any movie has 100% positive reviews while some awesome movies like Spaceballs are in the 60-70% range!

Best Batman movie yet. It's also one of the better comic based movies of late. It certainly had the best cast.
