what about practicing with metronome? that clicks piss you off like nothing else but also like nothing else help with coordination

Ive got very old violin found once on a church's attic and no one knows how old it is nor who made it - it had no note inside. It has nice and warm tone that my teacher adores but specialists say its nothing special.
I changed strings last month from very cheap ones to Thomastic Infeld Red set to enrich the warmth of my instrument and now it sounds completely different - I was stunned! And the low tension of the strings makes it so much easier to play! I just fell in love with my instument again ^^
If you ever come to think about changing your strings I fully recommend Thomastik
