We have all seen Ion Vein many times, and are more than familiar with how they pull off their own material. They do it VERY well.
Unfortunately, they do not perform material from their 2 discs anymore.
I think in the past couple years, I saw them perform Faith & Majesty one time, and that's it.
The highlight of their Powerfest 2006 set was a mindblowing cover of PAINKILLER.
I think the point here is that folks are curious if there is a potential cover song to make it into their set, as it fits with their previous Powerfest performance.

I am sure he would gladly trade his experience with you...
I told Lotesto this at their warm up gig. The IV from 2 yrs ago is a totally different band than what it is today. The only thing that I suggest for people who'd seen them before is to not expect the same thing. Russ and Al are 2 sides of the spectrum, both great at what they do.

Yeah, I have to admit that Russ was a LARGE part of what I like about IV....
That being said, I am very curious to see and hear them with the new vocalist.
I just hope (due to work) that I will make their set next Friday.

If my memory hasn't failed me, they used to do the title track from the self-titled disc. Chris can correct me if I'm wrong.
Their old drummer was dead on with those fills.
