Next weekend I get my first paying customer and the drummer has agreed to use a click!!! He's already been practicing with a click.

I almost had a heart attack. HE'S GOING TO USE A CLICK!! Outstanding!!!!!

Thanks to all you guys that have been participating in my mixing posts. This band was impressed with some of the mixes I used for examples (with proper credit given).

wow sounds cool man, which mixes did you give em ?
amazes me that so few drummers in your area are used to
playing with a click, from my experience playing along with
a click is the best way to develop tightness.
the bba drummer sounded quite tight.

I would post the link but I'm currently in the middle of a server migration.

It was one mix from Splatt88 and two mixes from CJWall. I also posted my latest mix for the BBA tune. I'll post the link once I'm done spending time in server hell.

Mark (drummer for BBA) has good timing but drifts when doing some of his more complicated fills. His stuff in BBA is completely tame compared to the sick shit he does in Crush Efekt.

wish i could be that straight forward with drummers, but here in hamburg you have to search hard just to find a decent metal drummer let alone one who knows what a click is haha. so i dont scare them off.

yeah that reason tune was hard to get right and cjwall nailed it.
