What do you think of the Invader as a single amp and not blended?

Umm, well it depends, I EQ it to sit where the Mark IV DOESN'T. So I can't say but from what I've heard I would say YES depending on the music. It just always seems to have this hollowness to it. It's an Engl sound though, it's good for single noted stuff because of the empty sound you hear every note.

I think you'll find Chris isn't using impulses at all. Oddly enough, it's been mic'd in a bedroom with no treatment at all. The guy has just spent a good amount of time getting it right and it's all time well spent I'd say! The results show for it.
