It's a cable you plug into a Discman, and the other end is a metal wire. You turn your car radio station to a dead-air station and then tune the cable to the same station, and you can listen to CDs through your radio without having to buy/install a tape player or CD player in your car?

Someone else told me that, too. How does it "not work well"? I don't know if I want to spend a hundred bucks putting a new stereo system into a 300,000 mile car.

I have two CD players... one of which reads wma and mp3 files off discs as well... for cars sitting in my room waiting for a car. I just ask my brother and he gets them in... in theory. I think I will soon ask my other brother for help cuz it's getting silly.

oh, thanks, Paul!

the fact that it's eighty bucks makes me wonder if i should just suck it up and get a stereo put in. now that i know what it's called, i'll shop round!
