Old school DM mix (SSD 3.5 plus HM-2 action)

Is the hm-2 going direct with impules or you are micing an amp? , sounds totally 90`s swedish metal , how awesome is that a simple pedal defined a whole wave of sound in metal history .

Direct. But I splitted the signal and blended with a more normal guitarsound.
I used an UAD speaker emulation for the hm-2 signal. Gave me a nice hollow sound

Everything sounds really good to me but I'd bring the vocals down a bit.

I generally prefer vocals quieter than most people do though, I dunno. They just seem to stand out a bit much.

I think the guitars could come up a bit. Maybe that'll help swallow the vocals a touch as the previous poster noted.

The programming sounds awesome. I'de be fooled for sure.

I will also have to look into the bass again I think.
And I want to reverb the vocals differently.

Btw. it's a three song demo and it might get released as a limited tape!

I changed quite a bit and now I'm pretty satisfied with it.
