C'mon, dude, this project clearly isn't the main focus for any of the people involved, and there's been a quicky feel to all of their releases. Why shouldn't this be the case, given the rotating side-project nature of the whole shebang?
now you say they dont put effort into their work
please where is Blakkheim, so you can be told to GTFO from a member
I don't see anything creative on nowadays metal music.
So if you're 27+, you'll get why I'd choose old school death metal anyfucking day than this shitty crap
It's obviously not maximum effort, which was my point. There's a lot of sketchy writing and hurried transitions and elided riffs that suggest melody through consonant harmony rather than by actually, you know, being melodic, all pieced together with a rhythmic uniformity that screams "phoned in" to a careful listener.
Commercial in the sense that its mostly about selling the facsimile of an idea so that the musicians involved can turn a quick buck without having to put a lot of effort in? Probably so.
If Bloodbath is maximum effort, then they're just not very good.
Bloodbath's music is not very technical..
I'm not so much concerned with technical matters as with the lack of subtler forms of complexity.

Well why are you here stirring everyone into your pool of drama? If you don't like Bloodbath then take your complaints back to your fellow Nevermore fan-boys. Standing around lions with a steak talking about how undercooked you think it is, is not ballsy.. You are not fooling anyone.
Because, as we all know, not liking candy coated kiddie death metal makes you a Nevermore fan...
Then tell us ma'am, what are you kiddies into nowadays? Because we all know how awesome Pantera is
I wouldn't know. I was in high school when death metal was at its height.
So what do ya'll listen to, EG? Besides Bloodbath, I mean.
