OMFG

I think my against money comment came off wrong. I just wish that we did not place so much value in money. I may have come across hypocritical when mentioning we lost out on our money for the cancelled show. That was a couple years back and I am not so worried now. I just don't like people who do things like that to other people. That promoter is just a lousy person. I guess I imagine a world where everyone got along, money was no object, and we took care of each other. Lending a hand for someone less fortunate and not expect anything in return but still have things bacause that is how things are. We are all provided for because that is the true value of life in my opinion. Peace, love, unity, and respect.

IN SOVIET RUSSIA, SHOWS CANCEL YOU!!! AAHHHAHAHHHAH

I'm all about legalization, too...it would remove the dangerous element from the whole thing.

All comes down to the prohibition argument. Criminalizing alcohol lead to crime and gang violence, same deal with marijuana (and arguably other substances).

What about other illegal substances?

That is a very valid question. I suppose if you were in favor of drug legalization, the logical and consistent position would be to legalize all drugs (unless you are an advocate for just medical marijuanna use).

I think it should be legalized, nobody will ever stop people from smoking pot, legal marijuana, alcohol, and tobacco should be taxed and used to fund a public health care system

In my opinion most people who smoke pot are to scared to grow it themselves, so they depend on others to grow for them. If they legalize it what makes you think people won't just grow it in there back yards then? It'll be hard to tax someting if no one is buying it. I mean, I can understand for someone who lives in the city to just throw a plant in a pot and grow it would be hard unless they have some sorta indoor green house in their closet.

Unfortunately pot is still Illegal in other countries so people will still have to smuggle it into their perspective places keeping some of those dangerous elements alive. I do agree that it would remove some of the problems of people breaking into other peoples houses to get at their plants.

The issue of medical marijuana is a complete misnomer. Endless studies show that it helps - give it to the people who need it!

You can form a family, marginalise your own children, hate yourself as you sit in an office cubicle, watch TV all day, buy endless amounts of shit that you can't afford and don't need, continue to spread hate, bigotry and small mindedness and that's OK, but how dare you want to smoke some drugs!

The world's fucked up.

^^ I agree derek. But would you want cocaine or meth legalized and regulated? Sure, you have the freedom and right (at least you should) to put any substince in your body and alter your mind. But, as always, some people aren't responsible and need to be kept away from certain "dangerous" substances.

And if marijuanna was to ever be legalized for all, it would come at a price- that is, government would have to regulate one's usage and people would bitch about that. I don't know about you but I sure as hell do not want my airplane pilot flying while high.

Unfortunately the people who "need it", most likely don't need it and end up abusing it and ruining it for the people who could actually profit from taking it. Nobody ever said that beating your kids, hating yourself, and spreading bigotry are okay. C'mon dude!

If Weed were Legal Im sure it could be somewhat treated like booze, not being able to do it in public, not being able to drive high or take it under age etc.
