I NEVER liked Joey..."Sound of White Noise" was a revolutionary CD for me....I still love it and listen to it today & I love all the Anthrax CD after that including "2 Evils", but I cannot support this incarnation of the band.

I will absolutely support John in whatever project he deems fit to contribute to. Even if it is to stay at home with his family...I totally understand.

John Bush is one of my biggest influiences in metal.

However, Bush is the bigger man here. He's takin' care of his business and not shit talking in interviews like Joey. I'm sure he's at home with his family performing his fatherly duties..and maybe laughing at this e-drama late at night after a few drinks at The Burning Bush.

Nice presumption, but wrong.

I was there through the Joey days, and thought some of their stuff was cool, but Joey was always the weak link. When I heard John on SOWN, I became a fan. I've seen both live, and have travelled to other cities to see John front Anthrax, while I'm not sure I'd bother even if the reunion tour comes to my town (which it probably won't). And if the dark day ever comes that John is officially out of the band, I'll stop being a fan again, and the only reason I'll have to come to this board is to win the "Who gets the last word" thread.

but do you think there is a coincidence that their best releases were with Joey?
besides SOWN, which was a great release no doubt ... the rest are just blah
