I've seen both live, and have travelled to other cities to see John front Anthrax, while I'm not sure I'd bother even if the reunion tour comes to my town (which it probably won't). :p

It would be damn cool if Anthrax come to Alberta and I would be there for sure, even if they had Scott on lead vocals. BTW man you gonna be at Red's for the Motorhead show?

been there from pretty much day one myself ... and if you think John is THE voice of Anthrax ... well then this is your opinion.
but do you think there is a coincidence that their best releases were with Joey?
besides SOWN, which was a great release no doubt ... the rest are just blah

Opinion, again, I can't say you're wrong for stating an opinion, but personally, if I had to order the albums:

1. SOWN and Volume 8 in a tie
3. Stomp 442
4. TGOTE
5. ATL
6. WCFYA
7. Attack of the Killer B's
8. POT
9. SOE
10. Spreading
11. Fistful

SOWN and Volume 8 would make a list of my all-time top ten albums (maybe even top 5), and Stomp is probably in my top 15. I've never counted out how far it would be before a Joey album (ATL) would make my list of all-time albums. Hey, that's my opinion.

Ya it should be a kickass show, I find out tomorrow if I can get Tuesday off as well if I can I will be at the Edmonton show for sure, but for now it is just the Cowtown show for me, but at least I'll get some Peter's Drive In as well.

I can appreciate the fact that you prefer Bush over Belladonna but I really don't know where you are coming from saying that Bush made them a household name, they sold way more albums with Joey than with John.

i know it's only small numbers but it looks pretty clear who we want. it's also very apparent from just reading other posts on this forum as well as other internet sites. therefore i offer this challenge to scott or charlie:

1. rather than feedin us all this PR crap, tell us FOR REAL why you are doing this. if you can honestly (and i mean honestly) say that you are doing this because you want to and you think its fitting for the 20th anniversary, then i (at least, and probably a fair few more ppl) will respect that.

2. tell joey to shut his trap. he's already talkin shit, and may i add talkin shit about john, an anthrax "family member" (no cynicism, just quoting). i'd be pissed off...... (and honestly, in response to some of that utter crap joey has been saying, if at least scott or charlie can't hear how much better the old stuff sounds with john......i even remember scott sayin as much in an interview when the greater of two evils came out. also, joey could have sung on SOWN, but it def. wouldnt have been the same album...)

3. confirm that john and rob are still in anthrax's future, and that they will be touring/recording once the reunion is finished. also, an OFFICIAL statement on whether john or rob were invited to be part of this.

ok so thats my challenge. as you may have guessed, i did vote for john, and i think that he offers plenty to the band for both the new and old material

Anthrax has sold 10 million albums worldwide. 8-9 million of those sales were with Joey. 1-2 million with John. So I don't know where he's coming from either.

wheree did those figures come from!?!?!

not disputing a thing, just wondered where you get anthrax sales figures from..........
