Why - because he can sing all the material - that man is made of metal!
...besides like Charlie or Scott used to say: "Joey fucked up"...
I've nothing against Joey, but somehow I feel that Anthrax did better music with Bush. Perhaps they were more popular with Belladonna, but those were days when thrash or speed metal was popular anyway...even Agent Steel and Overkill were popular...

John Bush is the better singer of the two. I grew up in my teens with Joey and loved that era, but John has got that something extra, you know he means business.

One thing lurch70: I've been an Anthrax fan since 1988/1989. When Joey was fired, I was really frustrated because I loved his singing. I didn't believe that his successor will be better - John Bush has proved it. It's paradoxical that now, when is Joey Belladonna back, I'm frustrated again...
I vote for JOHN BUSH.
personaly i like Joey as he is more of a "personality" ... kickass frontman, shittalker ... yes he is that as well.
but when he was in the band, and I saw Anthrax countless times with him ... they were fun to see live.
John is a great singer no doubt .... but he lacks that special something live ... he is too much of a nice guy
