hehe i remember the first year i was living on my own and i didn't have a clue bout cooking so well i once bought chopped frozen onions... one euro for 250gr or something.

my dad just picked up cooking soup. my mother had to eat two months daily vegetable soup... support like.
but his tomato soup is even better than hers (shhhh)

Whatever meat is on sale, canned tomatoes and occasionally whatever vegetables are on sale and not too time or work demanding. I should write a cook book really.
