Are they playing both albums all the way thru?

At first, they were advertising mindcrime 1 and 2 all the way through...but it appears to have changed to the 'hits' and mincrime 1 and 2 highlights. meh.

I would have seen them if it wasn't for the venue change in Sydney making it over 18, I would usually get in but the Metro is impossble to get into if you are underage. Ah well, I wish it was still at Luna Park I was looking forward to seeing LORD infront of a big crowd.

You mean the venues changed? Geeeeeeez thanks for the heads up! Anyway, i just listened to an interview with tate-man and he said that both will be played completly plus as many other songs as they can sqeeuze in. score!

Man this is gonna be killer. If they do any stuff from Empire or even their earlier stuff pre OM I will be an even happier boy.

Less than 24 hours now :D

Metro Theatre Geroge St...DOnt forget.

THEY RULED. THE REVOLUTION CALLED AND WE ANSWERED.

KILLER KILLER KILLER.

Great crowd. Real Old School. Man I actually felt young in that group. Tate and co put on a live show that was just majestic.

They did a highlights of both Op Mindcrime Albums to perfection and then encored with a few other hits of Empire and older albums.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did they do anything from the Warning album? Damn now I gotta re-supply at Tower.

To be honest they did 1 old number - a song which eludes me right now.

Pamela ruled on stage too!

Ok here is the setlist (well what I remember - I will fill in the blanks as my memory becomes clearer)

Revolution Calling
Operation Mindcrime
Spreading the Disease
Suite Sister Mary
The Needles Lies

I'm American
One foot in Hell

Eyes of a Stranger

Silent Lucidity
Jet City Woman
Empire

Take hold of the Flame

They have a great opportunity to play both all the way through this tour. They shouldn't toss it in the trash. Love "One Foot In Hell" from the new CD though!

I have missed at least 4-5 songs off that list. They played for 2 hours.

Sydney was awesome as well. The set:

Revolution Calling
Operation Mindcrime
Spreading The Disease
Suite Sister Mary
The Needle Lies
Breaking The Silence
I Don’t Believe In Love
Convict
I’m American
One Foot In Hell
Hostage
The Hands
Signs Say Go
Murderer?
If I Could Change It All
An Intentional Confrontation
Eyes Of The Stranger
The Whisper
Jet City Women
Empire
The Lady Wore Black
Take Hold Of The Flame
Silent Lucidity

Revolution Calling and The Whisper were probably my highlights but the whole show ruled. And LORD were great too, apparently they had some technical problems in Melbourne but they well and truely recovered for Sydney.

Thats basically our set list too - Except they mixed up the Non OM songs up a bit - they finished on Take hold of the Flame.

We caught the last few songs of Lord - they were good. Are they ex Dungeon members in that band by any chance?

How good was Geoff Tate on vocals? Loved how he shot Dr X :)
