Operation Mindcrime LIVE in less than 2 days :)

Yeah, Lord Tim as he's known, the singer/guitarist was from Dungeon and the drummer was the last of the several touring drummers Dungeon went through. At the end of last year Lord Tim put the name Dungeon rest after the second guitarist and bass player decided to leave so they played their final show under the name Dungeon last December in Sydney (which I was at)
The current line up is recording one last album as Dungeon and pretty much straight after that a new Lord album. Their sets are pretty much made up of Dungeon favourites as well as songs off the first Lord album which was originally a solo album by Lord Tim from 2003, remixed/reissued last year. Lord also have a forum on the Ultimate Metal site if you (or anyone) are interested in hearing more.

And yes, Geoff Tate ruled, the whole band sounded great

I caught Dungeon opening for Megadeth last year in Melbourne. They were great.

My ears were pounded from Queensryche. The sound was sooo loud :)

How sexy is Pamela eh ?

Dave Mustaine actually liked Dungeon so much he invited them to play with Megadeth in Europe last year after the Australian tour. Dungeon did some solo shows in Europe on that tour, I think from memory I remember reading they went down pretty well. Dungeon had a big following in Japan as well, the album they brought out in 2004 called One Step Beyond made it to #22 on the Japanese music charts I believe. Some of the other acts they opened for were Destruction, Edguy, Angra, Fozzy, Malmsteen, even the black metal band Mayhem.

The mix in Sydney was pretty good I thought, both bands sounded pretty clear to me. And Pamela was great sounding and looking, but perhaps a little old for me. I'm 21 ;)
