Opeth and Paradise Lost in the UK.

Im going to London on 9th Nov. Paradise Lost rule. I havent seen them for over ten years (bit of a metal sabbatical) but now i cant wait. They best play their older stuff, Gothic/Shades of God/Icon is their best stuff, before they started experimenting too much.

Gothic/Shades of God/Icon/Draconian Times*

Not too keen on Draconian Times. Dont get me wrong there are some good songs on there, and id recommend it as being on of their best albums, but it doesnt have the same intensity as their previous efforts and sounds a bit over produced and less "raw" than earlier albums. Having said that, i hope they play Hallowed Land, really f*ckin loud!

November the 9th? I take it that's at the roundhouse then...

I'm seeing them in Portsmouth Guildhall but I want to go the
roundhouse as well for greed purposes.

:heh:

Anyway to resume to the point.

Does anyone know what the R,H stage is like? When I last
went to see Jolie Holland play there, the stage was smaller
than a pro-biotic yoghurt pot!

Is there a fold-out/collapsable stage somewhere, or do we all
essentially squidge into one very limited space?

I remember Paradise Lost saying "we no longer do that ...Metal is dead... 'fuck' the scene etc."...

Opeth 1000x> P.lost
fuck them - stupid pop minds...
Actually, that was Metallica...:zombie:

Anyway, i wouldn`t expect to see anything besides As i die from the oldest albums, and maybe a couple of songs from Icon/DT.
