- First overall for me personally would probably have to be "The True You" - the concept of relativism was put forward to me for the first time by Satori and has since dramatically shaped my philosophical views.
- "What Are Opethians Really Like?" - the first ever use of that term, I'm pretty sure, by metalmancpa (and a wonderful discussion that followed)
- The "Metal Music Banned in Malaysia" one, wherein Orchid posted an article that lead to the "Got Goat's Blood" image - one of my favourite Opeth forum memories. Also,
this one, which followed it up.
- The "Stirring the pot" series of threads and all of the religion threads, as reading and attempting to keep up with the discussions between Satori (who although definately the wittiest and often by far the most entertaining did not always "win" all of those debates) and usually either E V I L or Xtokalon, because I did learn a lot and was led to ideas that led me to other things that continued a learning process, making me far more knowledgeable in the field of philosophical terms and ideas now than before - I do have to thank the aforementioned for this.
- a personal favourite would be the very old "to hoserhellspawn" thread, in which I was challenged for the first time on the forum.
