One thing I could never stand about people in this forum is the last of respect for D.E.P. Miss Machine is a fucking masterpiece. Give it another listen.

i'm not doubting they're ability to play...just their ability to record a listenable song. basically I bought that album because it was so hyped up as "godlike" then I had the revelation that noise-core sucks balls.

Hard to believe that Peter will be able to find anything to pay him better financially and/or creatively, but I'm hopeful the new guy can add a spark. Opeth had to tour that much to finally capitalize on their popularity...I'm guessing they made more selling t-shirts and touring than they did on CD sales alone, and we should just be glad Mikael is still keeping it alive.
