Anybody here going? I just got my ticket but need to wait until November when they play Baltimore. I've seen Opeth live before and they are amazing. I've never seen Katatonia live before but I hear they are killer live as well.

In the meantime, I'm curious to hear the details of the various versions of Heritage that will be available.

I'll be at the Dallas show. Got my ticket already.

I'm wondering too about the different versions that will be available

BTW, saw Katatonia late last year and they put on a pretty good live show. You will enjoy them.

I saw them on the Watershed tour in Kansas City a couple years ago. I have a choice between KC and Minneapolis again. Both about 4 hours away. Don't know if I want to drive that far this year. Gas prices, food and motel! :yow: Someone told me Akerfeldt is offering an after concert time at $225.00 a person. :OMG: Don't know if it's true.

yes, a meet and greet package with some goodies.

Last time I saw them my son and I got our pics with Akerfeldt and Akesson for FREE. It would have to be a truck load of goodies before I would pay that. He's great but not that great.

I welcome the change to clean vocals. I love Opeth's music but sometimes I get tired of the growling. MA's clean voice is great.

Yeah, I too got the chance of taking a picture with Mikael back in 2009 at the Tucson AZ show for free. But I understand this has to be a way for bands to get some money out of their music. I think the meet and greet for Opeth is a bit steep. Epica and Evergrey have meet and greet tickets for about 60 bucks including fees.

Pretty wild meet & greet prices, but if Roadrunner wants to charge that and fans will pay it, then good for Opeth if it makes them extra money.
It's funny because the first time I saw Opeth must've been about 2001 after Blackwater Park came out, they were opening for Nevermore. Small club, couldn't have been more than a few dozen of us in there, but we knew we were watching something incredible. Angel Dust were the openers I believe. Nice to see how far they've come.
