i like it! like i've said recently those different types of music are closer to each other than most people would admit. after all, it's all music. (yes, i count rap as music, too, and i don't see the problem for anyone who classifies growling as singing to not count rap/hiphop as music. i do both.)

yeah, alot of rapping (good rapping anyway) can be linked to jazz, in the way that they improvise lyrics and compose based on rhythm and melody. although personally i dont like rap, id prefer something like scat singing

50 cent is a sucky rapper, and although im not too knowledgable on the subject of hip hop id have to say artists like a tribe called quest, jedi mind tricks and mos def are much, much better. mos def is also a sweet actor
