You're the one being judgmental, I'm just calling you out on your attitude. You think you know music better than anyone here? You think that if someone prefers rap to metal that they're stupid, or don't know what music is? You're nuttier than squirrel shit.

I don't like rap/hiphop, but I'm not a prick who's going to say that rap/hiphop completely sucks and has no talent, because it's not true. Just because some rappers like to talk about stupid shit doesn't mean all rappers do. Just like how some metal bands in Norway like to burn down churches and kill each other, that doesn't mean all metal musicians do that.

I said "little" to no talent. It's a huge generalization. Let's say Rihanna. Or Wayne. Or Chamillionaire (sp?). All those, think whatever you like. French rap even rofl

And you're generalizing what I said. Talent does something good, but originality does too. Not saying that all rap isn't original and it all sounds about the same, some is catchy and decent. Let's talk about something that isn't metal or rap, say Peruvian Folk, Argentine Folk music, where I come from. Lots of that. I even dance to old folk dancing, so don't go saying I don't have references or other angles. People tried to get me into rap, I even tried too, but I always felt something missing. If you like rap, fine. You're "cool".

Oh gosh, trash talk? I would be saying pretty bad words if I hated them that badly, but fortunately, I don't. It's really "hate it with a passion", because it's all over the place. Pretty much everywhere. I am sorry for the wrong impression then, it's good that you take a stand to it.
