Opeth on VH1.com

I smell a barrage of quality Opeth programming on the horizon, "Opeth: Behind the Music" "Ultimate Albums: MAYH" and perhaps one day "VH1 Legends: Opeth"

*in my best and most drmatic VHI behind the music guy voice*

“And then something happened that almost ended the band entirely, one night after partying Mikael was driving his Corvette down santa monica blvd. when he lost control, and…his mustache.”

if you look on vh1 you'll see that they mention everyting. i'm reading an arcturus bio right now, and i just whizzed through a borknagar one.

What's weird is that MTV and VH1 are actually the same company, so you'd think that since someone over there knows about metal that maybe they'd actually give it some airtime. But noooooo.....

lina, but metal scares people, and you can't make money scaring people. i'm sure working there is like working in a record store. you may like good music, but you have to do what the boss tells you and sell shit.

You know thats true metal does scare people and even if the music is genuine they would totally freak out if the y heard some REAL death metal vocals! Just imagine if MTV played some music video off of Opeth's blackwater park album like bleak, there would probably be quite a lot of people that would like it and find it interesting but there would also be a large number of people that would totally despise the vocals, so this would be substantial enough to not play it.

Actually, I heard that there's talk of putting Headbangers Ball back on the air...

Is this just a rumor or is there something out there that shows that they may put it back on the air??

I certainly hope they do.
