No...unfortunately there aren't any Opeth tab books..personally i'd like to see some Nevermore tab books, but there is a good tab site with very good transcriptions of opeth songs. http://powertabs.net . You will have to download the Power Tab Editor 1.7 though, don't worry its free. Its a great program cause it looks just like the actual sheet music w/ tablature. You can download it from www.harmony-central.com, or some other site, its not hard to find.
My parents once told me they saw an Opeth tab book in a store. When i went there a number of weeks later, though, i couldn't see any, and neither could my dad, who was with me. So i'm thinking they might have been mixed up or something, i dunno.

I would pay top dollar for a Tab book for sure.
I don't see why there couldn't be one. It's not like the band has to sit down and write out the tabs themselves. the companies that make tab books have people for that.

the guys should seriously look into getting some made up.
i notice a lot of swedish metal bands dont have tab books, like in flames or arch enemy.

it would be cool with an opeth tab book, tabbing out everything that is recorded, like some Hendrix book I've read (which included cowbell and stuff), just the basics would be a waste of paper to print.

A lot of them suck, too, that's the problem. For example, a lot of the tabs on powertabs.net of Dream Theater's album "images and words" are a TON more accurate than the tab book. A lot of the people they hire just seem to be inept morons...how else can you explain tons and tons of mistakes in tab books of shit like the deftones's album "white pony"? Someone should just figure out a way to put the powertabs into a book in the tab book format.the_drip said:

But I totally agree... the tabs you can find (for free) are usually way better than "professionally" transcribed ones.

Mmm, an Opeth tab booklet, now theres an idea, I don't like looking up guitar tabs cause most of them suck, a good site I get em from is www.opeth.darkwood.com for some you need the damn powertab program which is worth it....

Well, most of the powertabs on that site were made by ME, and the UPDATED VERSIONS of my tabs as well as all my newer ones are on powertabs.net. Same deal with a bunch by other people. Deliverance and Masters Apprentices just got added over the last two days, and they're great.Julian Zembrowski said:
