Opeth - tom sound (samples) used on 'Deliverance'?

hello all,
i'm just wondering which samples have been taken for the triggering of the "Deliverance" toms - they sound so cool. I've no experience with samples yet, but I'd love to work wiht this tom sound. There's another Band called Mephistophels who seem to use the same or very similar tom samples on their album "Death Unveiled".

errrr, none actually, they'll be real I'm afraid.

The only drum samples on that album are the kicks (which are obvious) aren't they Andy?

hmm, andy do you mean that the toms on 'deliverance' are miced or do you mean that they used samples that they had recorded theirselves from an own drumkit?

They're REAL toms, I.E. miked up actually drums.

yeah the toms are all real, there's a mix on the snare 50% original 50 % sample

Interesting. Its quite a decent snare sound too, he's pretty intricate on it in the slower/quiter parts too.
