Opinions on guitar tone?

I'd like to get some more opinions on the guitar tone I have dialed in for a band I am currently recording. We're getting to guitar overdubs this weekend, and this is just a clip of a rough mix I'm using to try and dial in the sound.

It's nice and clear, but it could use some more balls.
Apart from that, I like it a lot!

Yes a little more balls...what is the gear used?

5150 II with a MXR Wylde overdrive in front, into a Marshall Cab with G12T75's, a single SM57 into an M-Audio Tampa preamp.
There is 2 tracks on the left and 2 on the right.

After tracking, there is a cut of around 5 or 6 db at 400 hz.

Are you meaning more gain, more crunch, or more low end?

I really appreciate the opinions!

I think the guitar needs a little more low end, the guitars are not muddy but try to boost at 4Khz....

Yeah, I'm also talking bout low end. They sound very good, don't get me wrong, but they need more of that "ooomph" we all love.

Maybe a better bass sound would compliment the guitars and make the entire mix more powerfull.

Thanks guys. I'm at work now, so more tweaking will have to wait untill I get home tonight. I can post some variations tomorrow.
Yeah, I haven't even begun trying to find the right bass sound yet...I'm sure that would help.
