Opinions on hardcore/metal song.....

Hey guys.... Just lookin for some opinions on a song I did for a band called "A Beautiful Nightmare". They are a Chicago band that have been around for a few years but this material is a lot different from their older stuff.

I used the infamous S-Highpres Impulses with most of these guitars along with amplitube 2. Let me know what you think of the tone/mix/etc.

Sounds good overall, but I think the guitar tone is a bit low endy just my opinion though. The synth that comes in at 2:54 is maybe abit high too.

Other than that good job.

hey thanks for the responses guys. Yea i agree that the guitars are a little too bassy/muddy/low endy. and that synth part your talking about (i beleive) is actually a guitar. I thought it was too loud at first too but ive grown to like it that way for some reason.

1) Guitars are ok but way behind. I would eq them in mids and give them 2-3db
2) the vocals need better eq and less space. Make them more upfront.
3) in general the song sounds nice as a feeling, so as I said only small steps, small changes, details will make this great.
