Osama Bin Laden is dead

For example:
Iran's dictatorship is so firm because of Americas help.
They are a part of it.
So a lot of people who hate the dictorship are angry and helpless and
they know that they would have a change ,if other countries wouldn't be
involved.
They are angry , not because they want to be martyr (SHUT THE FUCK UP WITH THIS LIEEE, where is this in Koran????????????? )
This told me friends who lived in Iran and this is just one example.

You're right, it is a lie... true Muslims are against violence and terrorism, but it's the twisted indoctrination that perpetuates the hate and these atrocious acts. Just like in any religion, there are crazy leaders that misinterpret scripture and go out and start their own church, cult, following, etc. Some of these terrorists truly do believe that they are doing these acts for some divine higher purpose or good, when in-fact they are brainwashed by some crazy dictator (Sadam, Osama...)

Saddam, Bin Laden, Gadaffi...

Once so good friends of the USA but years later they are the enemies of the world and the axis of evil.
Always the same story.
Gadaffi get your coffin ready!.

So it was written and so it whall be done.

Take a look at "RAMBO 3"... Rambo went to Afghanistan to help the "valorous warriors" Talebans agains the monster URSS. There was also a lovely dedication for them at the end of the movie. After 20 years they are the enemies!
Everytime is the same thing...I don't understand why there are so many "believers" after years of lies

I think it's a bit hasty to just immediately believe the news saying "HEY UM OSAMA'S DEAD YAY"
Then he's buried at sea immediately before anyone can get a look at the body and get proof with their own eyes? If this guy is so damn important, then isn't important that the world gets their peace of mind?

A useful research engine for when it comes time to start deciphering the truth from the lies.

I am not a person that is particularly attached to logic or reason, but at times like these? Probably best to take everything with a grain of salt, and I'm not about to trust what I hear on the news that easily.

wikipedia is the first result with almost every search... much like w/ google!

we have to face that we will never know the truth in most cases. everything is shrouded in rhetoric, even your post (which i somewhat agree with in terms of skepticism).

“i'm not upset that you lied to me, i'm upset that from now on i can't believe you”

at this point we wouldn't know a truth from a lie if it were told to us by god itself... human beings are completely flawed by skepticism vs gullibility

truths are about as useful as lies... and if we can perpetuate the circumstance with even more lies it will only become fact vs fiction. the only thing we can to is be true to ourselves as we reach terms of adversity.

I think some of the Europeans are failing to understand that American's are simultaneously capable of believing Osama Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein were terrible while recognizing that our country owns much of the responsibility for putting them in a position to be (more) dangerous and continues to make questionable (enemy of my enemy) choices in allies. It's not any surprise that the US government's attitude towards many of these guys hinges on their cooperation but it's not as though we can't see that (or that this method isn't controversial among citizens).

I just love the people in here that believe the US gov't would simply make this up. Makes total sense for an entire government to claim they killed the single most famous terrorist, the symbol of terrorism for years and years, and have the president give a speech addressing the USA and the world claiming it and explaining how it was done, all without it being true. Yes. Makes total sense.

The threat of retaliation is very real and just because the US has "raised security" doesn't mean shit, there are cells everywhere already and have been established in the US for years. This is simply not something you just claim in order to get public approval or whatever delusional reason you think the gov't has. How does that make any sense to you people saying "I want proof"? Do you also believe the US never landed on the Moon? Gimme a break...

Besides that, let's entertain that for a second, just a second because to me that's fucking retarded, but for fuck's sake let's entertain it. Ok. So, let's say he isn't dead and this is all bullshit. To those saying "I want proof," you think the US government, or any gov't for that matter, couldn't or wouldn't fabricate evidence showing it was him they killed? Either way, on the flip side you have conspiracy theory nutjobs saying the proof isn't real. How can anyone win? "I want proof" - show them proof, "it's fake"... blah

agreed!

americans are perceived to have the shorter end of the stick in terms of understanding.

i am confident that united states citizens are aware of the dichotomies.

another idea i have come across is that when other countries are forced to make critical decisions where it would more than likely conclude in controversy, they wait to see what the united states would do first... as if they are ineligible to reinforce their own control. the united states citizens are willing to sacrifice for plight in an effort to "come together".

most people just mind their business.

Regarding the burial... I was under the impression that burial at sea was preferred if recovery and desecration of a body is considered likely. If we were going to fake this sort of thing, it would most likely have either happened *long* ago or after another bunch of ugly that got pinned on him - they would have tried to get more people worked up over the catch either way. (Then again, considering that moon landing doubters aren't laughed out of existence and people still cite Infowars, I'm not too surprised that we still have some silly people around...)

And if he really isn't dead, then we'll see a video of him gloating soon enough anyway - but until then, I'm gonna take the absence of one as proof enough

I usually don't trust governments, in Spain they lie population every day.

So I have some questions...

Why they didn't capture him instead of shooting?
Isn't it strange that soldiers threw the corpse to the sea?
Is there any picture?

I have written a possible explanation on page 4.

In a nutshell of what I think may be explanations :
- There is no interest in having him alive.
- Since he's not that directly influent (groups operate alone while puting the name al qaida on their actions without even communicating with him) he maybe has nothing to reveal them that is worth it
- A trial would only allow him to continue his propaganda with even further power for a few weeks/months. he would have more to gain in this than usa/rest of the world
- to the sea : best way to make him disappear. burying him would only create a new "sacred martyr" place of cult
- pictures, for the moment no, not publicly at least. It's pretty sure they got pics and DNA, at least to communicate officially with other secret services about it, but for some reason nothing is shown publicly for now.

these are the most tangible explanations i have come up with for now.

Now sceptics have some food for thoughts.
