Ever since I upgraded from SL to ML my rig has gone from being rock solid to totally unreliable. Lately I've been getting this noise a shit load through my tracks while monitoring:

And the only fix is raising my buffer to over 256 samples. Though, when I monitor the direct signal through the Fireface Mixer from the pre, the audio is perfect. It's when it runs through a DAW that it gets shat on. Anyone had this issue before?
Interface is a FF800 on a 2011 MBP running Mountain Lion and the issue is in both PT10, PT11 and Reaper.
