I can't wait to pick up a copy of The Glorious Burden double CD next monday. And I'm even more excited about seeing them live in April with Primal Fear (from Germany) and Thunderstone (from Finland) opening.

What do you think? Will we be hearing a few Priest songs?
Iced Earth have covered The Ripper before and now that they have Tim in the band, it seems like the perfect choice for an encore. Remember "What's my name?!"

And Primal Fear have covered Metal Gods for a Priest tribute CD.

I guess we'll be hearing a lot of Halford-ish screams that evening :D

And where's the Official Iced Earth forum, for heaven's sake?!

Yeah, I'm thinking of checking that tour out as well. Their gig in Helsinki is the last one on the European tour, so it should definitely rock. And the few GB tracks I've heard sound just wicked! I never was the biggest Barlow fan and IMO Owens is the perfect guy for IE.

*Thinks of Painkiller live with Owens/Scheepers duet* :OMG:

edit: Oh yeah, in case you haven't noticed, there is an (unofficial) IE forum in Ultimatemetal.
