anyone else heard this? Bought "Alpha" on the weekend.....very disappointed. Sounds like they've finally run their course. Production is pretty cool, but the songwriting is "tired". Can't say I'm surprised as they've not deviated too much from day one, but managed to milk their sound for 5 good albums before this one.

ah come on now guys....the album is not that bad. Best one since Animosity atleast! And that one I think was their best. I really love the drum work, probably best morgan has done yet.

This album sucks big time imo!
they have been going downhill since animosity (which i think is great) and have now hit an all time low, only 1 half decent song (even Next had 3 or so ok songs).
Rubbish.
Agree with Descent, although I did like Seasons because of the Butch Walker factor. Enemy sticks in my head for days....like most big cheezy hooks do 
Next had 2 or 3 songs that grabbed me, but when listening to the new album I was waiting for the big track to grab me and it didn't happen. Very disappointed. I'm a massive fan.....but alas.....
There's a point where a "signature sound" starts becoming a formula and I think this one proves they've milked it for all it's worth and need some new ideas and/or input.

I still haven't heard any of the new one, but I was a big fan of "Seasons" as well...good, hook-y vocal melodies and harmonies, and just pretty cool songs altogether.
