OT: out of curiosity...

not really. i really dont understand why someone would kill over religion. its a fucking idea that nobody can prove or disprove, so theres no reason to kill over it, thats the way i feel.

i am nothing beer is my religion, when i was younger i prob considered myself a christian without really knowing what it ment.

i beleive in karma though, what goes around comes around so i always try to treat people right and do the right thing by others.

I'm a believer. Just not active.

Oh...Maybe I am...If MrThrax has a beer church...sign me up as a church leader.
I'll run the beer...er...I mean church fund raisers and all that!

This is the only church that's ever interested me:

Congregation rises, starts to chant a hymn
Of evil, lust and hatred, the roots of every sin
The priest he stands before them, tells them why they are this way
Why they worship metal gods each and every day
By the hand of Oberon, dark into the deep
Love the evil things we do, the secrets that we keep

Metal church, unholy, who'll be the sacrifice
Metal church, the only, don't you know the time is right
Metal church will find you, can't run very far
Metal church inside you, knows just who you are

Yeah!

I was born & raised a Catholic, but now I strictly worship the Devil & Blatz.....

But seriously, I have a real problem with organized religion. But by all means whatever a person wants to believe, is OK with me....so long as there beliefs don't lead them to castigate me for being not of their belief, or for that matter ramming an airplane into a skyscraper!

The ultimate idiocy/hypocrisy/foolishness is to kill in the name of God!!!

What would the "Big Guy" think?

After all HE is supposed to be the fount of all good and forgiveness!

I'm a "reluctant" believer who needs to practice more. Thing is, believers have nothing to lose. But I love all the atheists and anagnostics who have these brilliant theories and make all believers sound like dumbasses - what is the point of spending your life knocking down what others believe. If you believe in nothing, good for you. When you die, you're worm food I guess. But if you do believe, and you're right, well then, you get a ticket to heaven. So what is to lose by believing????

Me, I believe in god. I don't know if he/ she is some old guy with robes and a beard, looks like e.t or somthing out of star trek but I do believe in god. Now the bible I think is just twisted half truths of what may or may not have happend. After all, people change things to suit there needs. Why not change the ol' good book.
You got to admit, most of the ten commandmnets are decent sets of rules to live life by.

I believe in God. I've been to church maybe 4 times in my life. I don't beleive in Satan, though, or most of the stuff in the Bible.
Except, I believe in Jesus, but I don't buy the Noah's Ark story and stuff like that. Some guy made a boat and got 2 of each animal on it...yeah, right!
How could all that be true?
