Cool. I'm going to the Greek too!...albeit up here in Berkeley. It's all general admission....
For what it is worth, I've seen Sigur Ros about 5 times now, and they have been drop dead amazing each time. Kind of like an acid trip...

I also was surprised when you mentioned them. For reasons very of my own I don't care for the band and I agree it should be on the non-metal section. But I think a bit of leniency won't hurt UMOS and I don't know how many of you dwell outside this forum (I don't, besides an occasional post at PPUSA or Steel Prophet) so this is a good way to communicate with others.
I have insisted that I like UMOS to be a peaceful and communicative forum, an oasis in a desert of square minded posters (many of them metalheads regrettably). Also I have insisted that new bands can be mentioned here as long as they have an old school vibe, so basically unless I get complaints I'll not move this thread.
P.S. Don't go there with the punishment tease you make awake the dark side of a Wyvern

Speaking of it what the hell is post-rock? I have seen that tag a lot and makes nor head nor tails for me, it's a new moniker for alternative rock or what? Also I have found post-punk and so.

She doesn't know anyone in that forum. She posted here because she wanted to know if any of her California neighbors (that she knows) are going. Kitty has long seniority here, and as far as I'm concerned, can post on any subject she wishes. Would you have felt better if she'd labeled it "OT" or "Off Topic"? We get those from time to time with no one bitching.

Damn Kriz it sure its appealing and I guess I can ask fro those days off, but I should be getting the ticket like NOW and in some kind of a frenzy, so I don't know if I can. Will be like flying Friday and return on Sunday afternoon (so I can recuperate from the concert).
