This is the overview of all the press/promo pics we selected from different photoshoots for my electro-project "Faderhead" (not metal at all!).

Which ones do you like most?

As it is for electro I'd go with either the first or the second of the last row. The third one is kinda Aggro Berlin! :D (BTW: Is the tatoo photoshoped or real?)

I like that one or the second of the higher row...without hearing your music I can't tell if the tattoo pic is appropiate, but the pic is great, really.

Actually, I think people these days got it all wrong: it's actually good to use pictures that do not conform to the stereotypes of the genre that you are in, because it will get you recognized much more easily - as opposed to being just another one of the herd.

The picture idea was derived from the 50 Cent "Get Rich Or Die Trying" movie poster. We changed it a bit, of course, but the idea was to do something that the electronic scene usually doesn't do, which is an all macho, confident, up-front (or in this case "up-back" :) ) style. So far it seems like it works because that picture gets the most reactions ...

I don't know, the glasses look too big and the tilted pictures are a little too overdone...

Try a stick figure. Talking about unusual for attention, that'll fucking do it.

Jeff

Holy shit - I really dig your stuff, especially Vanish. Those vocal harmonies sound amazing!

I'd go with the last one for the reasons you said - it's never done in the genre.

One thing that really interests me is your voice... I can hear literally no trace of an accent whatsoever - do you do this on purpose?

Thanks man. To be honest: FH1 is just a collection of quickly written tracks after I got signed on the basis of the first four electro tracks I had *ever* written. FH2 will be coming out on April 6 and if you like this so far, keep an eye out, cause it is a lot better :)

Regarding the accent: I am originally German, growing up in an area of Germany where there is little of an accent. Then I lived in North Carolina, Toronto/Canada and Florida for a total of about 2 years and had this weird mix accent (very southern when I got drunk). I haven't been to North America in 10 years, so I guess what was left of my accent waned, cause my Californian girlfriend also says I have no accent at all, neither a German, nor a localizable American accent. Just surely not british :)

It kinda comes in handy to be thought of as a local person most of the time ...
