I was listening to some Otyg and wondered if the name translates into anything in English. I translated it in google translate and it said "nuisance." If this is true I am very amused haha. Any Swedish speakers here who can give me the answer?

from what i know otyg is the collective name for creatures of the nordic folklore, more or less like the guardian spirits of the land were called vättar , but they have many forms, i mean, it's not really a species' name, like trolls, tomtar, or giants.

I think it is, or is similar to what we call "Udyr" in Norway. A collective name for evil mythological/folkloric/fantasy creatures.
