Outstanding Albums of This Decade

So what? One Inch isn't entitled to his own opinion? I don't quite see the objective of this thread. Are you trying to stir up something on another forum by having the opeth fanboys hop on over there and praise the band? Opeth is my one of my fav bands if not "the". But realizing that they're not the end all be all of music, isn't such a far fetched concept to grasp Mr. Beals.

I figured i could turn this thread into something constructive...

my opinion on some of the best albums of this last decade (1994-2004):

Morte Macabre - Symphonic Holocaust
Bjork - Vespertine
Opeth - My Arms Your Hearse
Landberk - One Man Tells Another
Radiohead - OK Computer
16 Horsepower - Secret South
Ulver - Perdition City
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Porcupine Tree - In Absentia
Joni Mitchell - Both Sides Now
Fleetwood Mac - Say You Will
Paatos - Timeloss

obviously it was hard to choose...but not as hard as one would think...doing this shows how apparently down hill the music world has gone in the last 10 years.

p.s. dont be bitter about me leaving out tool...for im not a huge fan in the first place, and i figured many would post them anyway.

Opeth - Still Life
Fredrik Thordendal's Special Defects - Sol Niger Within
Stabbing Westward - Wither Blister Burn + Peel

I suppose those are my favourites. All have been released in the past decade.

Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye
Tool - Lateralus
Radiohead - OK Computer
Anathema - Judgment
Opeth - My Arms Your Hearse
Opeth - Still Life
Agalloch - The Mantle

I just got into newer music recently so excuse my limited list. Up until several years ago I only listened to classic rock of the late '60s and early to mid '70s.

^ Some good choices from you all
I choose

Jeff Buckly - Grace
Sigur Ros - Agoetis Byrjun
Agalloch - the Mantle
Ayreon - Human Equation
Opeth - Still Life
Anathema - Alternative 4
...Trail of dead - Source tags and codes
Refused - shape of punk to come
Nick Cave - no more shall we part

OK Computer is easily their best album. Don't get me wrong I love Kid A too but there are so many classic songs on OK Computer: Paranoid Android, Karma Police, Lucky, and the very underrated Climbing up the Walls. Kid A just didn't seem as solid to me.
