im gonna have to say the one on "the legacy" although chucks vocals are abit weaker and obviously the sound lacks powere due to quality, but alex does some cooler parts of the solo that he changed for first strike.

Chuck cant hit those intense high notes anymore (which were part of his trademark vocal style) What makes you think that his vocals were "weaker" back in the day??? His range was so sick it was frightening! From deep, deep lows to those high, high, powerful screams. The vocals on The Legacy are nothing less than GODLY!

As far as the "power" goes, the original version is so fucking heavy, fast and brutal the power is all right there!
The raw unpolished sound of The Legacy is part of what makes it such a fucking classic thrash album.
(same goes for so many more re mastered, re-recorded old school thrash albums)
The newer versions on FSSD are faster granted, and the drumming is far superior, but other than that, give me the originals ANYDAY!

and shit calm down, hunger of the undead, i chose "the legacy" in the end dint i? just saying my points for both arguments, i prefer chucks more recent vocals thats all, more power, thats just what i think.
