I've been doing all my stuff with km184 for OH, AKG414 for ride and 451 for HiHat.
unfortunately I lost the 451 (don't know where it's gone, guess someone just thought he'd like to have one, too

since the hihat mic is very quiet in my mixes most of the time anyway i thought about getting a cheaper mic for hihat, what you're saying 'bout those nt5 makes me wonder if that yould be the perfect hihat mic?
similar to km184 but less sparkle (don't need too much sparkle on the hats anywayslike it more aggressive/midrangey).
what do u thinK?

what do you mean the drums isolated
that link is just the overheads,
or do you want a mix of just the drums with the kick and snare and EQ etc

I was referring to Sloan's post there. yours was perfect i just want a real comparison between the MXLs and the Oktava's
