Both the new Anthrax and the new Overkill discs are amazing. It's amazing how both these bands are still bringing it in studio and on stage all these years later.

hmm ... so just gave this entire new cd a proper spin in the car on the way home.
not bad but TOTALLY different than Ironbound.

it's like rock and roll thrash ... every song is super speed and sadly somewhat interchangeable.

strangely it is NOT BAD and rather catchy ... balls out ... but rather pointless overall.


I'll have a review under the influence of some booze another day.

This. They are who they are. Too soon to tell how this compares to Ironbound, but it's definitely more quality stuff.

i'll buy the "it's Overkill" thing though.

some of these tunes will slay live under the influence of cerveza.

the more I listen, the more I agree. The songs just don't stand out, and often go on just a bit too long.
